Our Therapists

Marian Fritsch, Owner, LMT

Maian Hello, and welcome to Juniper House, a great place to enjoy the many wonderful healing benefits of massage therapy! What is your intention for your massage? We will work together toward that goal. My intention is to provide an individualized therapy that is successful, professional, and caring. I look forward to working with you!

You will receive the benefit of techniques and knowledge from a variety of therapeutic massage modalities, including Myofascial Massage, Myotherapy, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, and Reiki. It is my intention to draw on these various modalities to create/allow the most effective massage for your health and healing.

I also specialize in MRTT (Muscle Release TechniqueT) therapy, a proven effective approach to retrain muscle memory, release chronically shortened muscles, and relieve chronic pain conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic low back pain, frozen shoulder, and many more. MRTT is also great for overall comfort, strength, and flexibility.
(Learn more about MRT T)

In a "former life" I taught middle school in Glendale, AZ. I have always had a passion for working with and helping others, now joyfully expressed as your massage therapist!

An on-going interest in martial arts is partially responsible for my decision to practice massage.
My arm had been hurting for about five years after taking a bad fall. Then a  fellow martial artist and massage therapist, Bob Frumhoff Sensei, gave me a 20 minute session at the edge of the mat - My arm has been pain free ever since! Bob Frumhoff teaches Aikido and practices massage in Flagstaff, Arizona. He can be reached at
928-779-0563.                      (Learn about Aikido and our Phoenix dojo, AZ Aikido. )

Petra Fitch, LMT

Petra specializes in Thai massage, also called "the lazy man's yoga", because some people perceive the treatment as if doing yoga without any work on their part. The history of Thai massage goes back over 2,500 years to India, gradually making its way to Thailand where monks performed the massage as a component of Thai medicine. Thai massage is performed on a padded mat on the floor, with the recipient wearing loose fitting clothes. Usually no oils or lotions are applied during the session. Through muscle compression, joint mobilization, acupressure, and deep stretches, the therapist works the entire body for an experience that is both relaxing and energizing.

In addition to helping people feel better through Thai massage, Petra also practices Equine bodywork on a number of very special four-legged athletes. Contact Petra at
602-427-7246  or  petra.fitch@gmail.com

Theresa A. May, LMT was a part of Juniper House from its opening in 2004. In July of 2006 she returned to her native Minnesota. Our thanks to her for the love and the learning.
